We focus on working with children in grades K-7. We place children in age groups that are developmentally appropriate for them. If you are interested in a group for a particular age range, please feel free to contact us or complete the pre-screen form on this site and we will provide you with information about current and future class availability.

There are typically 5-7 children in each group. We have found that this number provides an added layer of opportunity for social-skills development without being overwhelming to the individual student.

Our groups meet once a week for ten (10) weeks. Each weekly class is one (1) hour.

Through our years of professional experience, we have developed a set of lessons/activities focused on social/emotional development. We draw primarily from Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Thinking™ method. We also incorporate a variety of other curriculums, including The Incredible 5-Point Scale, the Alert program and Jed Baker's social skills training.

The program costs $500 — $50 per session for 10 weekly sessions. Flexible payment options are available for those who qualify.

We accept cash or check directly, and online payments through the secure form at the bottom of our homepage.  We use PayPal to process credit card payments, but you are not required to sign up as a PayPal member in order to pay for PALSS classes with a credit card.

At this time, insurance companies do not provide coverage for PALSS groups, but if you have a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) through your employer you may be able to submit the cost of a PALSS group for reimbursement. Please check with your employer to determine if this is an option for you.
